As an alignment technician, you play a crucial role in preventing malfunctions and excessive wear on onboard installations. A misaligned diesel engine or generator set can cause unnecessary vibrations, leading to increased wear on bearings and seals and ultimately to costly downtime.
Your responsibilities include:
- Aligning propulsion systems such as engines and gearboxes;
- Aligning generator sets;
- Aligning shafts, pumps, and couplings.

What do we expect from you?
- MBO-level education or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering;
- Experience with alignment and/or bench fitting in the maritime and/or industrial sector;
- Strong technical and organizational insight;
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
- A flexible attitude and comfortable with working outside standard 9-to-5 hours.
