From disconnecting and dismantling old engines, modifying foundations, and installing Stage V after-treatment systems to handling piping from 8 to 400 mm. Every task is diverse and challenging.
You’ll be involved in the entire repowering process, from the ship’s arrival to its departure with a brand-new green heart! In short: you’re all in!
Your role
Are you accurate, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and do you have an interest in technical tasks? Then this position might be perfect for you!
As an installer, you will be responsible for carrying out various technical installation tasks.
Your duties will include, among other things:
- Dismantling and installing engines and generator sets;
- Installing exhaust after-treatment systems;
- Measuring and preparing materials lists;
- Modifying engine foundations;
- Installing or modifying piping systems;
- Installing or adjusting engine room floor plates.
