What you’ll do
- Operate a range of conventional lathes (2 to 8 meters between centers), including TOS, TRENS, FAT, and Cazeneuve (merged above)
- Machine various parts for the repair industry, including:
Propeller shafts
Motor end shields
Electric motor shafts
Maritime components (liners, pistons, etc.)
Various other parts
Job requirements:
- Experience with conventional turning in the maintenance and repair industry
- Able to work precisely and in an organized way
- Comfortable working independently
- Can read and interpret technical drawings
- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
- Flexible mindset, not tied to a strict 9-to-5 schedule
