What will you do?
Every day brings something new! We serve clients in inland shipping, fisheries, offshore, and maritime sectors. As a diesel mechanic at ADR, you’ll handle overhauls, repairs, and maintenance on Caterpillar marine engines and generator sets. You’ll work both in our workshop and on-site aboard vessels, both domestically and internationally.
Your responsibilities include:
- Inspect vessels onboard;
- Perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines and generator sets;
- Repair and overhaul equipment in our workshop and on-site;
- Troubleshoot and fix technical issues;
- Work with the latest emission reduction and green technologies.

What do you bring to the table?
- You have a technical background in mechanical engineering, combustion engines, maritime studies, or equivalent hands-on experience;
- You have hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical issues and delivering great customer service;
- You’re adaptable and stay calm under pressure;
- You’re open to short international trips from time to time;

You have organizational and technical insight;

Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;

You are flexible and do not have a 9 to 5 mentality.
